LOGIN
To login to TOWED, follow these instructions:
- Access http://towed.app4u.com/ from any internet-connected browser.
- Enter your email address for username.
- Enter your password (case sensitve).
- Click LOGIN
If you forget your password, follow the instructions on the login screen to reset.
Once logged in, you will see your home screen as defined in your user preferences.
TOOLBAR
The action "toolbar" will appear at the top of your screen. The toolbar is a command bar that organizes the actions of the TOWED application. The toolbar is "smart". Actions that are available for the current screen will appear in color while actions that are not applicable will appear grayed-out. You may hover over each action icon to see action to be performed. Watch the video for complete details of each action.
QUICK-FIND
The quick-find box allows you to search for desired data. Depending on the data currently being viewed, you may search by keyword. For example, if you are viewing CALLS, you may enter Call Number, Tag or VIN into the quick-find box. Similarly, if you are viewing Employees, you may enter the Last Name into the quick-find box. To execute a search,:
- Select desired data set from left side navigation menu
- Enter keyword
- Hit <enter> or click the search icon
- Search results will appear on the right side of the screen
NAVIGATION
The left-side navigation menu will display links to all menu items and data that you have permission to view.
The links displayed are dependent on user profiles and permissions configured by your system administrator.
For example, regular employees may see only see some items while managers may see all.
The left-side navigation is visible and accessible on very screen.
